I have got windows xp and no matter what version of messenger i download i always get signed out automatically which version will fix this?

No version will fix it. It is your location that is most likely causing the problem. Why? I have no idea. I recently moved from Maine to Maryland and have not had MSN IM drop me once. In Maine I used to get dropped all the time, it has not happened once in Maryland. Weird I know but the truth.
