Hi,
When I log onto Messenger, it logs on automatically, whereas I'd prefer that it asks me to type in my screen name and password. I can't find the place where I can delete both the log-in name and password, yet I know there is a user place to do this. Can anyone direct me on this procedure?
First step is to get to the Control Panel. Do this any way you choose. Once in the Control Panel, locate the User Accounts Icon and double click on it.
Now choose the user account that is the computer administrator and double click on it.
Now at the top left hand corner you will see ?Related Task? Under that you will see ?Manage My Network Passwords? Double click on ?Manage My Network Passwords. A box will appear with all of the names you have signed into MSN IM with. You can now remove as you see fit.

If you mean you dont want it to sign in automatically when you open it... When MSN signs in, go: tools -> options -> general tab -> and uncheck the auto connect boxes
