MSN Messenger keeps disconnecting

Have seen others with this problem elsewhere but so far no-one has been able to resolve why MSN Messenger disconnects whilst in use. I have DSL and not networked. Does anyone have any idea? Pls
First, Don't start the MSN IM sucks stuff folks. I'll pull them. I'm on a cable modem and I have the same problem. Why it happens, I don't know. I just deal with it cause it is a free service. The thing that I don't understand though is I can have a conversation with someone and all is fine but my status will show me as not signed in. Why it happens I have no idea. I myself just deal with it and it has been happening for quite some time.
