MSN Messenger freezing

Hey guys.
I´ve just formatted my hd and reinstalled windows. I´ve installed java, flash, shock, all that stuff. When I try to run Messenger it freezes and the little hourglass comes up. I hvae to push "x" to close it and an all to familiar system messsage pops up saying "program not responding" or something.

What are you trying to run Windows Messenger or MSN messenger because in your topic.. if your using windows messenger than get the latest one which is 7.0 and if thats still freezing than use trillian and btw if you patched it with polygom remove it because it no longer works on 7.0777

They f---ed up 7.0777. Many people have trouble with it. its not the mess patches, but the app it's self. i also have that problem, you login for 5 sec and it will lockup
