MSN Messenger Backgrounds (MRU)??

I have the following problem here at work... I probably should not be messing with MSN messenger here, hehe, but I have a problem, which makes Messenger crash on the PC and I would like to fix it. When I select some images as a background, it crashes messenger. I want to erase the list of images I have loaded... basically in dialog where you can change your default background image.
I searched the registry but can't find where these backgrounds are stored...

Thanks, I fixed it... cool, no messing in the registry. Just delete background folder in Application folder, MSN Messenger. Close MSN (before you do so) and when you launch MSN it creates it again with the default. Thank you.

I too am facing the same problem. Whenever i try to select a background from the displayed backgrounds, my messenger hangs and i have to end it from task manager. I tried the same solution as joe did for the problem ie. deleted the Backgrounds folder from C:\....\Application Data\MSN Messenger. For sometime, it worked. But when i again started downloading background images from the download more pictures link, messenger hangs. I have msn messenger 7.0.0777. Can anyone plz help me with this problem?
