MSN messanger

CPU/Ram: p2-333/200MB

I have 6 computers shareing rogers high speed,running off 2 stacked routers.
Here's my problem. One of 3 p2's running win98se cannot seem to connect to MSN messanger. But all the rest are having no trouble at all. it's on the same router as mine & another 2 up stairs & we're on MSN all the time. But his will not connect to the messanger.
any suggestions.?

Since the computer is running 98, you may have better luck posting in the 98 forum. Before you do, you may be able to narrow it down a little.

Try to log into hotmail.com using Internet Explorer. If you get a 'Page cannot be displayed' when trying to sign-in, the comp has a secure site issue (which will also prevents MSN sign in). If so, then once it's resolved, Messenger should sign in.

Also check the time and date on the computer.

If they're incorrect, it can cause trouble signing in to the .Net passport (used by MSN). Odds are, it's not your problem, but I have seen it happen a few times and it's a very easy thing to check.
