Hello
friends, I would like to ask 2 questions readring MSN:
1) how to check the istalled version of MSN?
2) I usually keep the option of: remember my ID ticked, so when I start MSN I can see my ID is saved. just I type my password and then enter to be signed in, now after I instaled new Win XP, this option can't be saved anymore, I tried many many times but unfortunately aslways coming empty, so that I must type my full email then my password to be signed in, any solution pls?
I will appreciate if any help,
many thanks

momtaz, take a look at your settings (security tab in IE? Unsure.) and be sure you accept cookies. Most sites 'remember' you using them.

KINDLY TO LET ME KNOW HOW TO VERIFY WHAT VERSION OF MSN THAT I AM USING? IS THERE ANY STEP BY STEP ANSWER?
and for the steps to allow pop-ups..
tools>internet option>security> and then where to follow next?
thank you very much for the assistance

Are you using Windows Live Messenger?
If so , in the Title bar at the top there is a down arrow icon that opens a menu. Move your cursor over "Help" and a further menu expands. Click on the bottom item "About Messenger" to bring up details of the build version you are running.

I found the MSN version is 8.1
but still facing the same problem, so boring every time I log in to tyoe my full email then password, any answer for this?

If you are asking about MSN Explorer:
once on MSN EXplorer go up to the Help & Settings Tab and click on it Then click on About MSN, then click on More Info and finally click on Update MSN Now.
You are using a MSN version that has not been supported in quite a while. So that might be your problem.Hardwicks Computing Helps
