My frustration. I installed QuickCamPro4000 when i had an old ver of MSN.All worked well then i downloaded Msn 6.O and the lost audio.I then uninstalled Logitech and installed it again, Then low and behold all worked well.A friend introduced me to Skype PC2PC, which I installed it works well. I then downloaded MSN 6.1 Now I lost audio. Using MSN I can see and hear the other party. He can see me but cannot hear me.
I have not reinstalled Logitech,Should I?
Has Skppe taken over my audio and blocked out MSN?
I have tested my sound recorder It records and plays back OK.
I really need some help to get back audio.

My pro3000 is or better to say was a real pain in the ***. I finally figured it out. Here's what I did.
Uninstalled everything to do with the cam. All the add on software and the usb drivers.
Then I chose explore on the cd. I found a folder named w2k. I opened it and lo and behold it had the usb drivers and a installer for them. I installed the drivers only and now it works great.
Most of what you want the cam to do doesn't require the BLOATWARE that competes with the msn and yahoo and other chat services.

Hi Setishock
Tx for your input.I'm a novis especially mucking about with software.I need a lot more help in plain language. So just to clarify.
1. When you say uninstall everything to do with cam. Do you mean the software that came with the camera? In my case Logotech Image Studio 7.21i. That is the only one I installed. Now if i unstall this and then put in the cd, should i not reinstall the same software and then explore the cd and find w2k.
2. When you say uninstall all the add on software and the usb drivers, you got me there. I dont know where to go to do this.
I have a usb port that I use to connect a digital camera to the computer. Will uninstalling the drivers effect this or will w2k fix this.
I will be very greatful if you point me in the right direction.
If you do not mind please give me your tel # and I will call you, i could then get the info as they say straight from the horses mouth.Tell me the most convienent time to call your local time. I'm in Sidney BC Canada
By the way has my downloading Skype any thing to do with this?
Tx Humphrey
