MSIMN.EXE - Application Error PL

While using the internet i always get this message box.
The instruction at '0x77f5215e' referenced memory at '0x007f4b2c' The memory could not be "written"
Click OK to teminate the program
I click okay and i can still carry on using the internet without any problems. Its a bit weird and annoying can anyone help.

Hi Tim, The file you are talking about is Outlook Express related. I don't know what specifically the error relates to but some of the others in the Forum might be able to shed more light on the problem. One thing you might want to try though. There is a chance that there is a problem with that EXE file. I would run the XP version of SYSTEM FILE CHECKER. That will restore the file and then see if the problem reoccurs.
To run it, go to the COMMAND PROMPT in the start menu. When the window opens type
SFC/SCANNOW
and the press enter on the keyboard. It only takes a few minutes to run.
Just my thought from the far reaches of what is left of my mind from fighting with Win 98 for a few years before going to Win XP. good luck, XDon
