msi kt266proraid supports suspend to ram

i have a msi kt266 pro raid mb and a an amd athlon 1.4G. i just wanna know if my mb supports s3(suspend to ram ) power saving scheme! i asked the manufacture but all it did was to suscribe me at their news and games newsletter. well their support sucks(support@msi.com.tw) so i hope you can help me! thanks

Look through your bios, probably under Power management. Thats where mine is at and im using a intel mobo :(

well i have there the option s1 or s3(str) but in the mb info book there is no confirmation that it is supported. an if i try it without any confirmation that is safe i might harm the pc and that's not good thanks anyway man!

s3 is what you want, thats how mine is labeled. It wasn't in my mobos manual either.
If its supported by your mobo (if its shown it is) its up to xp to do the rest. If your worried change the setting, reboot, and make sure your dont have any programs running in the background. Then try to stand by, If it works right your done. If it doesnt next time you reboot go back into the bios and change the setting back to s1
