Msconfig, Regedit, and Taskmanager

Hey, I have a very strange situation going on here. First of all, I ran McCafee Virus Scan, Adaware and the AOL Spyware programs, and nothing really pops up from those. Msconfig, Task Manager, and the Registry Editor all do not work. Regedit and Taskmanger pop up for less than a second then vanish and Msconfig does not come up at all. What in the world is going on?
Bottom line is you DO have a virus/worm/trojan of some sort.

Disable the restore poins and reboot in to safe mode. THEN run your scans. Disabling the restore point will delete them. In this case you really have no choice.
