msconfig in xp home?

Hi. When i want to disable stuff in boot i can go in msconfig.sys in win98, Me, etc... but in my XP home version i dont have msconfig. Are they any other way for do the same thing?

Hey, you wrote msconfig.sys. Are you typing that when you run the "Run" box? Make sure not, its a .exe. Also, make sure ur in as admin or its no go...

If for some reason msconfig isn't there, you can copy it from a win98 machine as well. Just copy the program file over and put it in your windows directory (windows/system if it doesn't work) and ignore all those warning messages that come up. You'll then be able to use some of the features. But you should just have msconfig there (with added features win9x msconfig does not have).
