I'm using a DSL Homeportal to connect to the internet. After being connected for a while, the computer loses the connection, and goes offline. Rebooting cures the problem, but it happens repeatedly. When shutting down, Windows XP hangs up and will not shut down. I have to turn the computer off. Sometimes, when trying to shut down, I get the msg,"MSBLNetConn is not responding." I can't find this file on my computer using Search. Other computers on the network do not have this problem. I'm using a Sony Vaio PCG-NVR-23 laptop. Sony disclaims any responsibility.
