Ms Paint resized my jpg

July 12, 2010 at 02:05:11
Specs: Windows XP
recently, i tried to re-save some pic (originally in .jpg format) into .jpg format without editing any details by using ms paint. The size reduced nearly half of its original size but the pic seems looks the same at all.

Anyone know what's going on? How can i batch processing my pics so as to reduce the size as wt ms paint did?

I tried to use xnview and similar prog. but still cannot reduce size but keeping a nearly the same quality as ms paint did.

Thanks Tufenuf. The Image Resizer is really great but I still hv problem when using the resizer.

I donno how to resize my pic to a smaller size but keeping the original pixels.

And, it seems that the prog only allow me to batch process my pics in same resolution. I found some pics grow bigger if the original res. is smaller than wt i want.

kenken190, I'm no digital picture guru and you may want to post this question on the "Digital Photo/Video" forum. There may be someone there that is more knowledgeable in this than myself regarding pixels, etc. You could reference this thread. I only use the Image Resizer to make my pictures smaller for e-mailing and I'm satisfied with how they look.
