you can use outlook express if you have exchange 2000 with the the pop and smtp services running. they are by default when you first install. all you need to do is a setup an account like normal in outlook express and use your exchange servers ip address or dns name in the pop and smtp fields. use your username and password as usual and that's it.
why you would want to use outlook express instead of outlook 2000 is beyond me.
one more thing to think about is that using outlook express, all mail is downloaded to the local machine while using outlook 2000 it remains on the server.
