When I create an Ex-cell file and try to save it , it gets saved at two different places.I can open the file from these two places, and when I delete one of them I notice that both of them are deleted. What could be the culprit>

by chance is do you see two different files because you have the file open and it's the temp file associated with the open file.

That would be Excel, I assume?

What are the two locations the file is being saved? Are they mapped drives to My Documents perhaps?
