.mpg thumbnail no preview

hi.. other files (.jpg,.gif,.bmp.,.wma, etc) have thumbnail preview only the mpeg(.mpg) file has none.. any ideas on this? i've already search this site for solutions in recently post same problems but found nothing, i'd really appreciate your help. thanx

Windows explorer image previews support only those with the following extensions: .art .bmp .dib .gif .jfif .jpe .jpeg .jpg .png .wmf

i used to view them, eversince i formated my hard drive its not working anymore, still works for .wma files.. i think i found a solution in google, i'll try if it will work.
