I'm having problems with mpegs. I've been downloading videos form kazaa, but every mpeg i get, the video lags at the beginning of the file and gets out of sync with the audio. This only happens with mpegs (avi's work fine), and only happens when the file is completely downloaded. If I preview it while it's downloading, it plays fine, but as soon as download is done, apparently, something goes wrong. It happens no matter what player i use too. Whats in the world is going on here? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I do have the proper codecs, but the problem is still there. I was thinking that since the the problem is only happening with mpegs, and not avi's, If I converted the mpegs to avis, they might work. Anyone know if there are any good programs out there to do such a conversion? This problem really troubles me, since I have many, many mpegs and can no longer watch them because of this problem. Anyone out there ever had this problem happen to them? I've completely run out of ideas.

Try to install or reinstall a DVD Player to regenerate the MPEG codecs.
