Since I installed windows xp, I cant get my mp3's to play. It says it cant open file... Need more detail????? You can yell at me if I didnt give enough.

try reinstalling a basic mp3 player, say winamp(www.winamp.com), if this does not resolve , then make sure the mp3 filetype is correct and windows is trying to open them in the right programme also.

Right click on your mp3 file, The fifth Title down is Open with, Right click in there and try windows media player that's in XP Or else yes try and use Winamp
