after recovering 3gigs of mp3's after they disappered the mp3 files do not play in windows media player, but do in win amp. WMedia player said that the files were corrupt and could not be played.but when i play them in win amp they play but it sonds as if all of the musics has been mixed up and shoved together.
I think the data that makes the mp3 may be jumbled up.

So does anyone know how to undo this? is there any software to repair corrupted mp3 files.
Please help i really dont wont to lose my music.

You say you "recovered" 3 gigs of mp3's, thus I assume your hdd crashed or you deleted them accidently somehow. I would say that the recovery software, or the recovery process itself, has corrupted all the mp3 files. My guess: your mp3's are ruined, although I'm probably wrong. I have heard of recovery software / process corrupting data before.

This has happened to me many a times. Unrecoverable via conventional means. Good news is, it's only music and not vital tax documents and such.
