Ok...i built my sister a comp...I had to use 6 mounts for a 7 mount bord because i did not have enough. When you tap the one side of the board the comp shuts off. It does not touch the medal frame or anything. When I move the comp why it running...(i somtimes push it out of the way and such)it turns off. The power supply cable is NOT lose. Any ideas aside from buying 2 another screw? The screws r some odball size and i cant find them anyware.

Thanks,
Cody

P.S. i kow somone will tell me this should go in hardware....but i think it could be a viris?...which would make the xp forum a better choise.

I would check the power/reset switch connectors they may be at fault try turning the machine on then disconnecting the power/reset switch from the board and move the computer

A motion sensing virus..... what next?

Get another mounting screw and secure the board. It's shorting or has a loose connection somewhere.
