Move/Copy between hard drive

I brushed over this option awhile ago and now can't remember where it is. It's an option that let's you switch wheather a file is copied or moved between hard drives. I know I've seen in in 98 and ME and I think I've seen it in XP. But I can't remmber where. Thanks

It's simple. Cut moves it. Copy copies it.

if you use your right mouse button to drag the file instead of the left one, you get some choices of what you wanna do with it (once you release the mouse button)

That's not what I'm talking about. It's an option that lets you permanetly change it so from now on files you drag from one drive to another will always be moved instead of copying
