move files one at a time

i need to move files from one folder to another using a batch file. the files all have different names with the same extesinon. i can use "move c:\1\*.txt c:\2\*.txt" and it works fine. i need a method that moves one file pauses for x seconds then moves another file pauses for x seconds etc. until all are moved. thank you for any suggestions.

no it isn't
i have an application that processes the files after they are moved to folder 2 but it needs time to process the files one at a time.
