Move Boot to New Drive?

Specs: XP pro SP2
OS XP Pro, like to move boot image to new drive, and make it the primary. One how do I movr the OS. second when do I move the jumper to make it the master?

First, remove your email immediately unless you would like to see a daily filling of your inbox with spam.

You may want to get some software that will automatically make an ISO image of your hard drive and then extract it to the new one.

BTW, why do you need to switch hard drives?

If you believe MS they say make a ntbackup with system state. Install base OS to where you want and apply backup.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

Just clone dive A to drive B, then setup drive B as the boot drive. Are you working with IDE or SATA?

As stated clone the drive,

Use paragon drive image or Easeus Todo, both are free.
