All of a sudden the mouse wont move the cursor left or right properly. I have tried cleaning inside (there wasn't much to clean anyway, the mouse isnt very old) but no change. I've also looked in the mouse properties and nothing has changed in there either, and even tried removing thr mouse from device manager and resinstalling with no luck. The curson will move left and right, but not very far and its a struggle to move it from one place to another easily. Any ideas?

Hi Alex, If the mouse is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer about the problem. You can also try another mouse to see if you have the same problem. Also a slight chance that the mousepad is worn out. You could also search the MS Knowledge base for mouse trouble shooting. Look in system tools to see if you have P-C Doctor for Windows. There is a mouse test program in there. just my thoughts, XDon Note: do a search on this site for mouse and see what shows for results.
