Mouse wont drag anymore on internet

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 3.2 GHz / 1013 MB

K dunno what i did...didnt install anything new. ran antivirus. checked and in my internet setting its enable but my mouse stopped dragging...but I cna still right clikc and copy...anyone?

Not sure I've got your drift right.

Are you talking about, for example, when you right click a picture that you wish to copy? If this is what you mean, do you get the drop down box at all and if so does "Copy" show in this?

nope normally i used the left button and maintain it to drag and highlight what i want....i can still right click and copy....but the dragging to highlight in block aint working no more

So can you still drag and highlight in Word or NotePad?

Do you happen to have another browser on board, such as Firefox?

nope no other browser...so I wonder if its a virus but mine didnt find nothing and ran it twice

What about your Word Processor, Notepad etc - can you drag and highlight in those? Not sure where I'm going on this issue except to establish whether or not it is only a browser issue or something more general.

Yes it works fine in words, notepad and else. Only with the internet I cant drag anymore and highlight. For example, normally in Google if I made a mistake I would have dragged y mouse to delete the words...cant no more....or on a page if I wanted to highlight and copy cant nomore...
