blah, my mouse suddenly stopped working (wireless usb mouse) so i tried a ps/2 mouse... also didn't work. I check to see if they were being decteted and they were, windows said the devices were working properly. I restarted hoping it would help, mouse didn't work, (also wern't being reported in the device manager so i can't update the drivers). Trie system restore, tried "add new hardware" tried reinstalling windows.... all with no luck. Could it be a virus? Please help... why would it just suddenly stop responding?

um, this may sound dumb, but have you checked the batteries in the mouse? this is usually the problem when mine stops responding. if the batteries are ok, you could try to change the wireless channel (go to mouse properties for this)
