My mouse speed is constantly resetting itself. It happens a lot more when the precision mouse is enabled. It happens at random times when at the desktop or even when gaming. If the mouse speed went up i would not be complaining but the mouse speed is always slowed down to the slowest possible setting. This speed is never changed in the mouse properites though, that always shows the mouse being set as fast as possible. Anyone know what might be causing this, it has cost me countless frags :(

I have a IntelliEye Optical mouse. I downloaded the stupid extra software, from the M$ mouse website, which runs in the background but that did not help. My XPpro is up to date, I will check to see if there are any recent updates for my EpoX mobo when I get home. Anyone having similar problems?

Thanks

Alastor

Does it act up just while using windows?? if not try setting you mouse settings in each program... most GAMES like counter stike and such have a mouse sensitivity setting somewhere hiding.. normally in the advanced settings..

hope that helps
