Mouse scroling

i just set up my computer and when i scroll my mouse on webpages it sorta just skips done like 3 or 4 lines instead of scrolling (i hope you understand; it like jumps instear of scrolls) is there any way i can change this? i use the scroll button and i have smooth scrolling enambled this is really makeing me mad because it is annoying please help

JC, Did you go into your Control Panel>Mouse and look under the Wheel tab where you can change the number of lines to scroll to a lower number(like 1)?

Do what Tufenuf said.

Also, I recall seeing this exact post in the General Hardware forums. If you don't get an answer, which you did, DO SOME FRIGGIN' RESEARCH!
