Hey im having this problem, whenever i move the mouse the mouse pointer on the screen doesn't move. I have tried reinstalling the mouse, using another mouse, using another port and reinstalling Xp. It is still doing the same thing.

Could try: Windows HELP, click Index, then type:
Troubleshooters
Below that see "List of Troubleshooters". Then click INPUT DEVICES. That leads to Mouse Troubleshooting.

To fix the stuck cursor:
1. Shake the monitor like crazy !
2. Spray WD40 oil on the screen.
3. Wipe the inside of the screen with a damp cloth.
4. Use a razor blade to move the mouse cursor.
......and finally...
5. Replace the screen if you can't get the cursor off.
