Hi Guys, Enable/Check, Control Panel-> Mouse-> Pointer Options->Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box Does not work on dialog boxes when using Microsoft Office such as word, excel, ppt etc. Works only when the document tries to close without saving. Works on notepad, wordpad. Do you have any solution to this problem? Any registry edits? The resolution is important for the left hand users. Thanks, Tom

What other dialog boxes are you seeing when you have those programs open?

Hi Jennifer, All applications run normally. It is just the mouse pointer which does not show consistent behavior. when the pointer function is enabled by checking the check box, the mouse pointer is supposed to move automatically to the default location of any dialog box opened by the application. Hope I am making you clear. Tom

I understand. That's what I'm asking. You said "Does not work on dialog boxes when using Microsoft Office such as word, excel, ppt etc." What dialog boxes are you seeing in the office programs when you're seeing this behavior?

Hi, The usual dialog boxes when we save a document, or click options in word or any other applications. But I don't know from where the dialog box is being generated, either it is from the OS or from the application. Thanks
