I accidently turned the mouse pad off on my laptop, is there any way to turn it back on without plugging an external mouse in to move the curser

You should be able to hit the start button on your keyboard, providing it has one, and just scroll to the Control panel, then to the mouse properties icon and turn it back on that way.

Please use the "Alert Me" button in the top right hand corner of this post if I can assist you further.

Press the Windows key (if you have it) then the UP arrow to get to the Run command - enter

Type in Control Panel - enter which will put you straight into it.

Down arrow to Mouse - enter and use Tab to move arond the boxes.

If you don't have a Windows key (rare anymore) you can hit ctrl+esc to access the start menu.
