My mouse stopped working after installing xp pro on my computer. It was working during setup but once i restarted after already being run it dosnt detect my mouse. My mouse is a genius netmouse pro, serial. Ive heard that xp has some issues with these types of mice but i dont have a ps2 port on this computer (seeing that it is old and all) so i have almost no chance of getting a different mouse. I dont know if its a problem with the hardware itself or just a problem with win xp, this has happend numerous times, i dont think ive ever solved it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advace.
first of all, your computer doesn't come close to being able to run xp.
166/64 ram, is not near enough. hence the errors.. xp needs at least 256 ram, 350 mhz processor.

Gee thanks for the help... and yes my damn computer is fully capable of loading and running xp. Its not my computers speed or ram thats the problem, it has no problems anywhere else, this system works just as fast as win me, i would like to get help on the subject not the fact that i dont have enough freaking money like you rich goofs to go out an buy a whole bunch of new crap just because someone thinks my computer cant run an os. Now please, if someone could help me on the issue it would help.. if not ill just go to a dif forum.
