Comment:

something is wrong with my mouse. occasionally, in windows, it stalls, and when doing so, i heard a "beep" noise. it's currently connected to the ps/2 port using a usb to ps/2 converter.

also, in warcraft 3, it stalls more frequently, and sometimes it causes the keyboard to shut down, while the mouse still works (somewhat).

Check your BIOS and some offer a usb mouse
enabled or disabled option. make sure your mouse is "enabled".
