Specs: Windows XP
I have a Packard Bell Easynote R1000 Notebook
Occasionally the mousepad won't respond to movement or clicks, it does it randomly
Sometimes it happens a few times a week, other times every other month

Does anyone know what causes this and how i could fix it?

go to device manager and check for any yellow markers related to the mouse because there can be some IRQ conflicts

run a virus scan with updated antivirus

if this things doesn`t help , then most likely you rmouse is bad and then try another one

It's the mousepad, i don't have a mouse
I noticed from google it's a common problem with this laptop but found nothing on how to repair it, i even asked on the Packard Bell support forums once
There is not infections, adware or malware on my laptop
Even after reinstalling the operating system it still happens

How do i get ot the device manager?
And how do i update the drivers?
