I cnat control my mouse pointer, it seems to have a mind of it own. When I try to move it around it jumps all over the screen and the windows will start opening up vevry where. This had started after I switched from FAT 32 to NFTS. Could this be part of the problem? I made sure all the windows updates were updated, drivers and such. I removed programs I thought could be the problem. I just downloaded some Halloween stuff ( download.com ) for my kids and got rid of those thinking they were the problem. HELP!!!! Now I have to go see if I can get this posted without losing it.

It sure sounds like you have a Trojan Horse virus. You might want to specifically scan your computer with a trojan scanner, as some virus scanners don't cover the trojans.

Well, this does sound a lot like a viral infection. I do not doubt that you checked everything though. Try running Norton directly off the CD incase the virus somehow damaged norton???

You definetly have a virus, could be a new one. Download AVG Free edition and it will check for new viruses.

Just incase anyone wants to know, my problem wasnt a virus....it was my mouse. I needed to re-install the software.
