seems like a bios virus or something.. It started a few months back. ended up getting a virus a backdoor trojan, got rid of it..took out my old HD and added a new one, added XP, hoping to get rid of the mouse/kb problem, but it still happens.. the mouse lags, halts, malfunctions, repeatedly closes windows and tries to shut down by itself quite frequently, or just fails to respond.. keyboard has occasional problems,switching keyboards only initiates other problems (bad keystrokes, unwanted keys, say i hit C, it goes C367/ or something to that effect, all with one key hit.) anyway, this has gotten very frustrating to work around. i dont want to replace a whole motherboard if i dont have to.. any help greatly appreciated.

hi there ive just recently installed windows xp but since i have my mouse and key board dont respond at all do you know what it could be im having to turn off my pc and restart hoping it might just work no chance nothings working any help would be kindy taken
