My mouse and keyboard are not functioning. The tower itself and the monitor seem to be fine, but the keyboard and mouse will not respond. The computer was on last night, and I went to use it this morning but could not. I have been fiddling with it today, but I'm not able to get anywhere. If you know why this might be happening or what I can do, please let me know. Thank you!

You may want to try your last good configuration... Reboot your computer and hit F8 during the startup to get to that option.
If that doesn't work... try unpluging your mouse and keyboard from your tower and restarting the computer. Once it restarts then plug your mouse and keyboard back in to see if XP finds them.
