mouse and keyboard freeze !!

i downloaded a game called tales of pirates online and the requerments were good for my PC . after a while the mouse and keyboard started to freeze , and i had to restart the computer to regain control . ( note that during the freeze the computer works okay ) . then the freeze started to come when i do my normal regular uses of computer like microsoft word . please help me how to fix it , and dont use very complicated expert words i dont understand . thank you ....

MHF1, suspect your issue is simply memory related. Games typically use kinda massive quantities of memory and if you try to also run something like Word it can easily become too much. I'd recommend at least a gig of memory and more wouldn't hurt. Most machines don't have that unless it's been added. HTH. Ed in Texas.

ed in texas , my computer already has a 1 gigbyte of ram . and when i said that it freezes when i use microsoft word , i did not mean at the same time im playing . please someone help me !! thank you .

thank u everyone !! i fexed the problem , from another thread in this site ! i used a mouse with a USB port and it workes now . ^^
