I would love to Upgrade from my Win98 to Xp
But Xp don't support Motorola SM56 Modem
fax/voice .I've tried a number of downloads
Nothing has worked. If someone has updated there system useing this modem.Please let me know.

The windows 2k driver for this modem works in XP.

Go to device manager in control panel and click on your modem and reinstall driver and browse to the 2000 driver like the camper up above said and when it tells you this driver is not digitally signed click on install anyway. It will work.

Yup it does works. I have that modem before.
It works on XP too.

i have the same modem and you can find a good driver here:
