I have a mother board sis 530 and I heard that I canīt use the windows xp because the system donīt reconize the modem and the sound system. There is a site that I can dowload an update program (sis 530) to use the windows xp system.

I have the same motherboard with the sis530 motherboard. My onboard sound chipset is a CMI8330 and it worked with the Win2000 drivers that I found at http://www.cmedia.com.tw/e_download_01.htm
As for my modem, I have an aopen itu-2 isa modem and it also worked with the win2000 driver even though WinXP says that it may not work, do you want to use it anyways.
