just the other day, i burned three files onto a recordable CD using the multisession feature of NERO EXPRESS 6. i did not finalise the disk. can i now burn more files onto the same recordable CD using the multisession feature of DEEP BURNER (another CD burner), or will have to stick to NERO?
what i want to know is whether more than 1 CD burner can be used on 1 CD-R OR CD-RW for different recording sessions.

Probably but I am not sure simply because each has it's one proprietary options for doing just that.
They all must follow the written code so as to be read by others and as such the finalizing of the disc should be the same also.
Just to be sure though I would try it out on smething that you can afford to lose if it doesn't work.

If you burn a mutli-session cd, then it should be able to be read and written to by other burnings software and cd-burner.
That is if you software follow Standards.
I constantly use one cd on different cd-burner with no problem. However this also depends on the age of the cd-burner. Older drives have a problem seeing the capacity correctly of cd's over 650mb.
So in the end is any software and any cd-burn should work.
One more thing if you finilize a cd that is the end of being able to write to it. Use cd's for permanent
storage, use cd-rw's for tempary or change data.Never say Never Romeo Void
