I had posted earlier regarding an Asus A7A266 motherboard and expanding the DDR memory to 512 from 256.
Someone suggested that I adjust the jumper near the DDR ram slots from 1-2 to 2-3. This appeared to help and to some extent it has but now instead of crashing every ten minutes, it crashes every 3-4 hours. Overnight I left it and found it had hung it self up on me.

I've recently seen may problems with XP memory and graphics cards. Depending on your graphics card and the amount of ram you have you should try setting your AGP apature size to 32meg or 64meg if your graphics card has less than 32meg. Choosing 128 or 256meg sent my machine loopy. Anyway just a suggestion.
