How can I explain this issue?

Okay say you have a exact square image like a 100x100 avatar/icon, on messenger for example. If you move that window to the far right of the display you'l see the image become squashed so it isnt a exact square. Its the easiest way to spot it.

Basically everything gets squashed at the edge of the screen. I've tried loads, uninstalling graphics drivers, reinstalling, different refresh rates.
Sometimes it won't be as squased on the right but it'l get fatter on the middle or near the middle.

Its hard to explain but im sure some people know what I mean. I just pray someone has a clue what it is that causes it and how to fix it! its driving me MAD. It just gets on my nerves.... and I want to fix it

I'm using a ATI 9800xt and a Nec Mitsubishi Diamond pro930SB

I believe I tried with my old packard bell monitor but still had the same issue... so I don't know if its actually the monitor.

I can try to give more info if needed!

Hope you can help.
David

This is a problem with the monitor. You need to adjust the display with the monitor controls and move it to the left a bit. If moving the picture to the left causes the same problem on the left of the screen, you need to reduce the width of the screen slightly.

Hmmm.

I tried that and it just gets larger at one point, and well still thin. Maybe not as much mind. But then half the display is not showing because it won't fit the screen.

What do you mean by a problem withthe monitor? like a problem everyone has or an issue with just my monitor?

Cheers!

Its a problem with the monitor, not the video card or any software running on the computer.

You need to reduce the size of the image the screen. There should be controls to do that.
