Hello!

In the old versions of windows, you were able to set the update frequency to the highest possible, depending on resolution and color depth. With Win2k and WinXP there are no such setting as far as i now.

My problem is that, when I'm playing DirectX or OpenGL games who changes the monitor resolution and color depth, the update frequency always sets to 60Hz. I get a headache by that low frequency. How do I tell the graphic cardto use a higher frequency? (I use Nvidia's Detonator drivers)

Reply:

1. Right-click ur desktop
2. choose "Properties"
3. choose tab "Settings"
4. choose "advanced", a new window opens
5. choose tab "Monitor"
6. select the proper "Screen refresh rate"

Good luck!

Khalid: That doesn't help, because the DirectX changes the resolution (and all the other settings).

rage: will try that.. thanks!
