monitor sync problem

i have 2 monitors w/ sync problems
1st one a box bounces around that says sync problem, i can boot into safe mode fine & i got the drivers, but there's only .inf and .icm files. i tried to find the monitor under device manager to update drivers but i can't find it in there. help????

the other one displays multiple fuzzy images but i couldn't find drivers for it

i have not been on my desktop in 3 mo's and need to get on pleaase help pleaaase

1st - ctx pl5, 2nd - compaq 471

If you are trying both monitors in the same graphics card, have you considered the possibility that it is your graphics card that is faulty?

Check the monitors on a different computer. Most modern monitors work perfectly well using the standard SVGA driver provided by windows.
