Monitor goes in POWER SAVING MODE

November 22, 2005 at 23:31:24
Specs: WIN XP, P IIII/256 MB

When I try to start XP in the morning the monitor is going into Power Saving Mode but CPU is starting up without any display. If i disconnect the monitor and connect it on other computer and then re-connect it back to the same cpu then it's normal. It's happening everyday. Maybe VGA problem has I have ATI 128MB VGA installed on it.

Monitor Toubleshooting

Try another monitor on your ATI 128MB VGA card if it is the same, take the card out, clean the contacts with a rubber / eraser & reinsert or try another card.

If it is OK, check your Power settings as well.
