I have DAEWOO 19" 905DF monitor. It's 2 year old. The text & picture look very sharp but color is screwed up. I tried to adjust the color, "RED" turn to "BLACK", "GREEN" becomes "YELLOW", and "BLUE" is fine. I think the video card is OK because this monitor look the same when I connect to other computer. Note that "WHITE", "BLACK", "BLUE", "YELLOW" look good on my monitor. I tried to secure the cable but no help. Any idea? Thanks

Sounds like there is no red. Check the plug on the signal cord for a broken or bent pin - if it's not the plug or cable, the monitor may have gone bad.
For what it's worth, I see more Daewoos discarded than any other brand - some only a few years old.
Those people that think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do

I've seen that tint problems (blue is most common) are most often due to the monitor cable being kinked or bent. As jboy suggested this is because one of the pins is not making a good suggestion. It's also slightly possible that it's the video card, but it's always been the monitor cable in my experience.
If you can, you might try replacing the VGA cable on the monitor, but if the cable is built into the monitor (I hate that) then you'll either have to find a position of the cable that doesn't cause and prop it up like that it or get a new monitor.
I have an old system that I have to push up against a wall so the cable is bent upwards to prevent tinting problems. Sucks, but it's either that or finding a new monitor.

Hiya
Before you go buy another monitor, have you tried degaussing the screen? This was a problem I had recently.
Andy

I did checked VGA connector and it looks fine. I also degaussed many times but no help. I think jboy is right, the RED gun is gone. But it's funny that why I have very good WHITE. WHITE is formed with maximum RED, GREEN, and BLUE, right ????
Anyway, thanks for all the hints
