I am having a problem where when i hit delete on a movie file in explorer the screen goes black for a second. I have an nvidia FX5900 card with the newest drivers, although this happend with older drivers. The screen also goes black for a second when i click on the nvidia icon in the taskbar. I think it may have something to do with the play movie on tv option, since it happens on video files. Anyone have any suggestions for this, because it is really annoying. Thanks

The problem may be with the video drivers. They have a problem properly initializing the screen graphics when Anti-Aliasing is enabled. Turn off Full Screen Anti-aliasing for your video card. This can be done In the video cards display properties panel.

The download link from that site went to the nVidia site for an older version of forceware (71 something) I went to the nVidia site and noticed there was a newer version than mine that came out a few weeks ago, so i downloaded that one, uninstalled my current one, and installed the new one. Same problem. Any other ideas. Could this have any thing to do with my monitor.

Yes, I can go up to 75, but that doesn't seem to correct the problem.
