Comment:

I have successfully changed the name of the Registered Owner in my Windows XP-home edition.

I still find the old Registed Owner name (ORON) in something called "Profile Image Path" in the Registry--looks like in a User list folder.

Also, probably related to the above, a folder in "Documents and Settings" still bears the ORON. When I try to rename this folder, I get a Windows warning pop up that calls the folder: " ...Windows System Folder... needed by Windows to run ...cannot be renamed or modified."--or words very similar.

So, two things still retain the ORON.
1> In the Registry the old name is in: "Profile Image Path" with string "...Documents and Settings\(ORON)\My Documents..."
2> On main HD Disk C >Documents and Settings >(ORON) as a User folder name that holds all documents and other crucial-to-WinXP info--this is a system file that cannot be changed or modified, else Windows will not function properly, per Windows pop up warning.

IS there a non-total-reload of WinXP way to Modify the ORON in these 2 places?

Thanks in advance,
Serob48
